Different Strokes Entry: The Stock Market.

A new weekly project called Different Strokes from Different Folks has been started up by an admirably skilled painter who goes by the name of Karin Jurick. I really like the paintings I've seen; excellent light and color -- tasty stuff.

This is my first actual entry into the project, though I did paint the previous week's subject but didn't submit it in time.

Here is the entry due October 22nd. It was done all in oils, in one sitting, from the photograph.

Belated Post | Illustration Friday:Feet

So, it has indeed been quite a long time since I started this blog anew.
We can thank Illustration Friday for the inspiration to post today.

This Week's Subject is Feet, soo here is a pair of feet whipped up whilst drawing with my lovely Daughter Mikayla. It was a little dark in the living room as it was evening and we didn't really have all the lights turned on, so I was happy to see these turn out as well as they did. I used my new Watercolor Pencils to create these.

I've been playing with Google's new page creation software, but I think this blog format is better for posting things like this. The googlepages pages are more pagey and have a static feel.. at least as far as I've been able to see.

At any rate, that's that and this is what's up.

A Fresh Start

A fresh new start to the blogging life is what I aim to create with this first post. Let's see how long I can let this stagnate after this initial step.
